Occupational Therapist School Setting in Graceville, FL

Key qualifications and experience:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist license
• Previous school-based OT experience is preferred
• Comfortable working with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of needs
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple school sites and work well with educators, families, and support staff
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a dynamic schedule

In this role, you will:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Evaluate and assess student needs to develop targeted intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to support student success and participation in school activities
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed to deliver services
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in school-based OT
