Key Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Missouri (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT, particularly at the elementary level
- Thorough understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and best practices for pediatric care
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to diverse educational needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to elementary students with a variety of learning, physical, and developmental challenges
- Assess students’ needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote integration and achievement within the classroom
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in meetings related to student services
- Offer recommendations and strategies for classroom modifications and assistive technology as needed
