Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and independence as a dedicated Occupational Therapist within a welcoming and collaborative school environment near Grand Junction, CO. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work with K–12th grade students during regular school hours, from August 6, 2026, through May 21, 2027.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Support students with a variety of abilities, collaborating with educators, staff, and families
  • Evaluate and document student needs, progress, and interventions
  • Develop creative therapy plans tailored to individual student requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute subject matter expertise
  • Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and school-based requirements

Required background and skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in working with K–12th grade students in a school setting
  • Proficiency in both direct therapy services and consultative support
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to engaging and supporting diverse learners
