This contract position, conveniently scheduled for three days per week (24 hours total), offers the flexibility and variety that school-based therapy roles are known for.

Your expertise will help students succeed both academically and personally by supporting their participation in school routines and enhancing their skills for daily living. Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and be part of meaningful student progress in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure to practice occupational therapy
  • School-based experience is appreciated but not required; mentorship is available for those new to the setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to advocating for and supporting the diverse needs of students

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conducting evaluations and developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in partnership with educators and families
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Contributing to IEP meetings, planning sessions, and staff trainings as needed
  • Educating staff and caregivers on adaptive strategies and accommodations to optimize student participation
