Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license in Indiana
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strength in supporting elementary age children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable working onsite with children from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs in motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
- Design and implement engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support students’ educational goals
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals, maintaining compliance with confidentiality and documentation standards
- Participate in IEP meetings to share insights, recommend accommodations, and set therapy objectives
- Offer guidance to parents and school teams on strategies to facilitate student success in the classroom
