Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting in Granger, IN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Experience with elementary-aged children preferred
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of school-based OT best practices and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Flexibility and commitment to a full-time schedule

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students in a supportive school environment
• Assess students’ needs and develop personalized intervention plans
• Deliver direct therapy, consult with teachers and families, and monitor progress
• Document sessions and maintain compliance with all school and state regulations
• Participate in meetings, contribute to IEPs, and help foster a positive, inclusive classroom experience
• Adapt interventions to best support students’ educational and functional goals
