Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students in a supportive school environment. This role involves working in person (preferred) near Grantville, GA, where you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educational professionals to help young learners reach their fullest potential.
What We're Seeking:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Prior experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based settings
- Knowledge of K-12 developmental milestones and age-appropriate interventions
- Ability to deliver therapy and document student progress effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
- Adaptability and flexibility in responding to a dynamic school environment
- Commitment to in-person work preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to determine OT needs and establish treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans customized for each student's abilities and academic requirements
- Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies to enhance classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic recommendations into daily school routines
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure effective outcomes throughout the school year
