Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license and certification
• Arizona Speech and Language Pathology certificate required
• Previous experience in school-based Occupational Therapy settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Capable of developing and implementing effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working across multiple age groups
• Proficiency in assessment tools and documentation strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills challenges
• Evaluate and document students’ progress, collaborating with educators and families to ensure individual growth
• Develop and implement individualized interventions and treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student goal setting and progress discussions
• Educate school staff on adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and inclusive strategies
• Maintain timely records, reports, and communications as required by the school and district policies
