Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy sessions to students as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
• Assess students’ abilities and develop individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance to school teams
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
