Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a part-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the flexibility of delivering impactful services through a teletherapy platform. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 32-33 students, providing essential support to each student once weekly, with a select few seen twice per week. Make a difference by helping young learners develop the skills they need to thrive in both academic and daily life settings.

Pay for this position is highly competitive, ranging from $85 to $90 per hour, reflecting your expertise, commitment, and the value you bring to student success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong foundation in OT assessment and intervention within educational environments
  • Proficiency with teletherapy tools and approaches
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling collaboration with educators and families
  • Compassion and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver occupational therapy services remotely, focusing on fine motor, self-help, sensory, and functional skills
  • Document session outcomes and maintain accurate student records
  • Partner with teaching staff, other specialists, and families to foster inclusive classroom experiences
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational teams
