Fine Motor Skills Gross Motor Skills School Occupational Therapist | Greenwich, Connecticut

Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, where your expertise will support students in reaching their fullest potential. We are seeking two full-time OTs for contract positions, each working 37.5 hours per week for the full school year. One role will focus on elementary-aged students, providing the chance to help shape foundational skills, while the specifics of the second assignment are being finalized.

In this dynamic educational setting, you'll have the chance to work collaboratively with a dedicated team and support children’s development in both fine and gross motor skills. Your knowledge in school-based OT and previous experience or familiarity with COTA collaboration is highly valued.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Current Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Skilled in assessing and developing therapy plans for fine and gross motor skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide therapy services for students as part of an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop and implement intervention plans targeting fine and gross motor skills
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic and functional success
• Consult and provide training to teachers and staff as needed
