Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Occupational Therapist in a vibrant K-12 educational setting. This position covers a maternity leave, starting mid-August for an initial 12-week period, with the possibility of extending. You’ll play a crucial role in helping learners develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of professionals near Greenwood, IN.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Indiana
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting, preferably across K-12
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and intervention strategies
  • Comfort with consultative and direct service delivery for a diverse student population
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments and participate in developing IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document and communicate therapy progress and outcomes effectively
  • Support functional participation in classroom activities, fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive behaviors
