Occupational Therapist School Setting - Grenada, CA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across K-12 settings in an engaging onsite occupational therapy role. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload and be a steady resource for students, staff, and families throughout the school year. You’ll collaborate with educational professionals to assess needs and develop individualized strategies, enhancing students’ participation and independence in the classroom and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California OT license required.
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage diverse caseload and adapt interventions for varying student needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
• Conduct assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
• Create engaging, functional activities to support fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills.
• Document evaluations, progress, and session notes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families on best practices and classroom strategies.
• Support students in accessing curriculum, school environments, and extracurricular activities.
