In this onsite, full-time assignment, you'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team as you address sensory, motor, and adaptive skill needs across a diverse student caseload from kindergarten to 12th grade. Your guidance will be essential in developing individualized intervention plans, consulting regularly with teachers and families, and ensuring every child receives the support needed to thrive academically and socially.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration
- Ability to develop and implement tailored intervention plans effectively
- Organizational skills and adaptability for managing a K-12 caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and document findings thoroughly
- Develop and monitor progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
- Adapt interventions and strategies to facilitate student participation and achievement
