School Occupational Therapist

Soliant has partnered with a school in Gresham, OR, and is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to specialize in treating students in Life Skills classrooms.

The position is full-time, and will cover several sites for the 26-27 school year. 

Requirements:

• Oregon OT license
• Previous schools or pediatrics experience strongly preferred

Pay and benefits:

• Hourly, W2 pay of $52 to $60/hr
• Health, vision and dental insurance

As a school-based Occupational Therapist, the candidate will:

• Evaluate newly referred students and conduct periodic assessments of current students
• Determine if new students are eligible for services; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families
• Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals in accordance with evaluation results
• Consult with teachers, parents, other staff members and private medical professionals
• Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipment and supplies
• Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and student progress
