Occupational Therapist School Setting in Gridley, CA

Make an impact by providing essential occupational therapy services across school sites throughout the Oroville area, with potential assignments in nearby Paradise as well. As a contract Occupational Therapist, you will support students’ growth and participation in the educational environment during the full school year—from August 10 through May 28, 2027. This is an in-person position with opportunities for travel professionals; mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between school locations.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and California certification (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable traveling between sites and adapting to new environments
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the academic year

What your days will include:

• Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Developing and implementing creative, individualized intervention plans
• Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contributing to IEP development, progress reporting, and goal setting
• Supporting student participation in classroom activities and daily routines
• Traveling to assigned school sites as needed (mileage reimbursed)
• Maintaining timely, accurate documentation
