Step into a rewarding contract assignment as a licensed Occupational Therapist, providing vital services to students across grades K-12. Located near Grove City, OH, this position focuses on supporting the educational and developmental needs of young learners through targeted OT interventions in a school setting.
You'll manage a manageable caseload of 24 students, each requiring your expertise and care. With a total service delivery of 3,090 minutes per quarter, you'll have up to 20 hours per week to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and variety only contract positions offer.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license
- Experience with school-based OT, home health OT, or healthcare OT is highly preferred
- Familiarity with delivering services to K-12 students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Ability to organize and document therapy sessions efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all interventions and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adapt interventions
- Communicate effectively with family members and school staff regarding student progress and needs
- Adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population across all grade levels
