School Occupational Therapist | Grove City, Ohio

Step into a rewarding contract assignment as a licensed Occupational Therapist, providing vital services to students across grades K-12. Located near Grove City, OH, this position focuses on supporting the educational and developmental needs of young learners through targeted OT interventions in a school setting.

You'll manage a manageable caseload of 24 students, each requiring your expertise and care. With a total service delivery of 3,090 minutes per quarter, you'll have up to 20 hours per week to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and variety only contract positions offer.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license
• Experience with school-based OT, home health OT, or healthcare OT is highly preferred
• Familiarity with delivering services to K-12 students
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education compliance
• Ability to organize and document therapy sessions efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all interventions and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adapt interventions
• Communicate effectively with family members and school staff regarding student progress and needs
• Adapt therapy techniques to a diverse student population across all grade levels
