Your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will be invaluable as you collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized plans. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio (OTR/L)
- Prior school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations across grade levels
- Passion for supporting both elementary and high school students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both elementary and high school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and adaptive equipment as needed
