Occupational Therapist School Setting in Groveport, OH

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio (OTR/L)
• Prior school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations across grade levels
• Passion for supporting both elementary and high school students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both elementary and high school settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and adaptive equipment as needed
