Occupational Therapist School Setting - Groveport, OH

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Ohio
• Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of educationally-relevant occupational therapy
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Ability to manage time effectively and document services thoroughly
• Familiarity with implementing and following students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs
• Assess students’ needs and develop intervention strategies to support their academic success and daily functioning
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers to maximize student progress
• Keep accurate documentation while maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in meetings and communicate progress to families and school teams
