Bring your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to students in need and make a meaningful difference in their school experience. A contract position is available for an OT with a passion for helping children build the skills necessary to thrive in a school setting. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized programs that foster growth, independence, and academic success.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure (or eligibility) for the state
  • Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Understanding of IEP process and compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs within the educational environment
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
  • Monitor and document student progress; participate in IEP and team meetings
  • Provide consultative support, resources, and training for staff to promote student success
