This part-time contract opportunity allows you to bring your occupational therapy expertise to a school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work collaboratively with educators and families to help students fully participate in classroom and school activities while delivering the highest level of care.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt strategies to meet unique student needs
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a passion for empowering students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional skills within the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions in alignment with IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to enhance students’ participation and success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, session notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations or modifications
  • Support educational staff through training and resources on strategies for student success
