School Occupational Therapist | Hamlet, North Carolina

This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide services in a K-12 school setting from January 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026. The role focuses on supporting students from PreK through 8th grade, working 37.5 hours per week during the contract school year.

Location: Hamlet, NC
Duration: Contract position for the school year (January 6, 2026 – May 22, 2026)
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Grades served: PreK-8

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to support students' developmental and educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implement therapy plans that promote student participation in educational activities
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as needed to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and regulatory requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and certifications
• Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with PreK-8 students
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational regulations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
