School Occupational Therapist - Hampstead, North Carolina

What’s Needed:

• Valid Occupational Therapist credentials
• Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
• Skill in supporting students with a range of occupational therapy needs, including physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs and individualized interventions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Adaptable approach to working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations and assessments as required
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classrooms and related settings
• Work closely with school teams and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive school culture
