Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience delivering therapy services in a school environment preferred

• Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Passion for helping children and adolescents overcome barriers to learning and daily living

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and challenges
• Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders
• Provide consultation and training for staff on strategies to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices
