Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services to students in a full-time capacity. As an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting, you'll help empower children to develop the skills they need for academic success and everyday life, all within a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and documentation standards
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address students’ motor, sensory, and functional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and developmental progress
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Offer training, resources, and recommendations to school staff and parents to facilitate student growth in and outside the classroom
