Gross Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in Harpers Ferry, WV

Your expertise in gross motor skills, school-based OT strategies, COTA collaboration, and effective teletherapy will ensure students continue receiving high-quality interventions throughout the leave coverage. What you’ll bring:

• Active Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in school-based OT and home health therapy
• Familiarity with OT teletherapy platforms and best practices
• Strong knowledge of gross motor skills development
• Previous experience or ability to collaborate with COTAs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Reliability and adaptability to seamlessly transition into existing caseloads

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver direct OT services to students, both onsite and virtually as needed
• Evaluate and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and COTAs for a cohesive therapy approach
• Track and document student progress, completing required reports and paperwork promptly
• Participate in team meetings, conveying student needs and progress effectively
• Support learning and independence for students with a range of abilities
