The assignment begins ASAP and runs through February 9, 2027, offering long-term, stable work across multiple campuses within the district.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Connecticut is required
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to serve and travel to multiple school sites within the district
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to shifting schedules and caseloads based on school needs
  • Genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with varying abilities and backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT assessments, treatments, and interventions as outlined in student IEPs and 504 plans
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success in the classroom
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, offering professional recommendations
  • Develop supportive learning environments and suggest modifications as necessary
  • Help students build essential life, motor, and adaptive skills to encourage independence
