This role requires an Occupational Therapist with current certification and experience working with diverse school-age populations, from kindergarten through twelfth grade. You’ll collaborate closely with dedicated faculty, helping to foster student independence and life skills through individualized therapy.

This contract begins immediately and continues through the end of the school year in June 2026, offering a meaningful chance to make a significant impact on young lives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy certification
  • Experience with students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12
  • Background supporting children and adolescents on the autism spectrum
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and caseload demands

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans for ages 5–21 with autism
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Document and report on student progress, modifying strategies as needed
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions individually and in small groups across various grade levels
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning
  • Participate in professional development to maintain best practices
