In this role, you’ll provide vital occupational therapy services within a charter school network, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students from Kindergarten through high school. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and ability to contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage caseloads across multiple campuses
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with school staff, students, and families
- Reliable transportation to travel between five assigned school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to a diverse group of students with various needs
- Evaluate and assess students to develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other service providers
- Maintain detailed records and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input toward student goals and progress
- Foster meaningful engagement and support student independence in the school environment
