Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
- Ability to travel between assigned campuses
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students identified with occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student participation and achievement
- Provide direct and consultative OT services, facilitating access to classroom learning
- Collaborate with instructors, support staff, and families on student goals and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing knowledgeable recommendations for student support
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of services and progress
- Adapt interventions to fit a variety of educational environments and individual student needs
