Occupational Therapist School Setting - Hayward, CA

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
• Experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to inclusivity and supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor skills, sensory needs, and functional abilities within the school setting
• Develop and execute effective intervention plans to maximize students’ educational participation
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom activities and environments
• Attend IEP meetings and provide accurate, timely documentation
• Consult with educators and parents to support carryover of therapy goals
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines for school therapy services
