Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid, active Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Skilled in adapting therapeutic interventions for school-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress and participation in classroom activities
  • Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Assist in creating adaptive strategies and recommending equipment to enhance student access to curriculum and school environment
  • Provide training and consultation to educational staff regarding therapeutic strategies
