Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT state licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
• Experience with K-12 age groups, including adapting interventions for various learning and developmental levels
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload, utilizing evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and execute customized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Complete thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance classroom participation and student independence
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines
• Offer in-class support and consultative services to educators, tailoring recommendations for classroom success
