Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid OT license in Alabama
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and a passion for supporting students’ growth
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct thorough OT evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Design and carry out individualized interventions that promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and create effective learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and document session notes and progress reports
- Serve as a resource for educational staff on strategies and accommodations
