Bring your expertise as an occupational therapist to a dynamic educational environment, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. In this contract position, you'll deliver vital OT services to an engaging and diverse caseload of approximately 55 students across multiple school sites. Desired Background & Skills:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license is required
- Demonstrated experience leading and participating in IEP meetings
- Comfortable working with digital platforms and documentation systems; prior experience using SEIS is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering collaboration among teachers, families, and service providers
- Flexible, organized, and able to manage caseloads across several campuses
Role Expectations:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to each student's IEP goals, ensuring access and participation in school environments
- Collaborate with school teams to design and implement interventions that support functional skill development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and helping to shape student support plans
- Maintain accurate records and service logs, using digital documentation platforms
- Provide support across a variety of educational settings to best meet individual needs
