Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Nevada State Occupational Therapist Licensure
  • Proficiency in both fine and gross motor skill interventions
  • Experience with school settings preferred; open to other clinical backgrounds ready to make the transition
  • Familiarity with teletherapy solutions is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and deliver individualized therapy interventions in alignment with students’ IEP goals
  • Develop tailored strategies to enhance motor skills and functional independence
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Document progress and participate in team meetings and IEP reviews
  • Adapt approaches to meet the diverse needs of a school-age population
