Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in Virginia
  • Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with educational accommodations and IEP implementation
  • Skilled in delivering direct therapy and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services directly to students in the school environment
  • Support ESY programming and deliver required compensatory sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, track student progress, and maintain up-to-date records
  • Contribute professional insight to IEP meetings and help adapt strategies to promote access to learning
  • Assist the team on a PRN basis as needs arise, offering flexibility and variety
