Occupational Therapist School Setting in Henrico, VA

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid for practice in the state
• Previous experience with school-based OT, particularly supporting K-12 students
• Familiarity with delivering both ESY and compensatory services in a school context
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Adaptable and enthusiastic about working on a PRN (as-needed) basis to support evolving caseloads
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on occupational therapy interventions to students, tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide in-person services during the summer, supporting ESY and compensatory needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to facilitate student participation and progress
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports as required
• Support students in developing fine motor, social, and daily living skills for maximum access to education
• Contribute expertise and flexibility to address immediate and emerging student needs
