Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in Virginia
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with educational accommodations and IEP implementation
- Skilled in delivering direct therapy and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services directly to students in the school environment
- Support ESY programming and deliver required compensatory sessions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, track student progress, and maintain up-to-date records
- Contribute professional insight to IEP meetings and help adapt strategies to promote access to learning
- Assist the team on a PRN basis as needs arise, offering flexibility and variety
