Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Collaborative spirit for working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations for supports, accommodations, and strategies
• Adapt activities and environments to promote student independence and participation
• Travel between assigned schools or sites as needed within the district
