Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license for the state of Virginia
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Compassionate, flexible, and resourceful mindset
• Commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans to address students’ needs
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation of services and student progress
• Offer consultative support to staff and families regarding accommodations and strategies within the school setting
• Monitor student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
