Occupational Therapist School Setting in Henrico, VA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working with the pediatric or school-aged population preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student success
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Offer ongoing support and progress updates to students, staff, and families
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education for optimal results
