Qualifications:

  • Active OT license in the state (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to address students’ needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services per IEP guidelines
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school/district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight into students’ abilities and accommodations needed
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a supportive learning environment
  • Adapt interventions and materials to meet the student’s unique goals
