Step into a dynamic contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services across a variety of school settings for the upcoming academic year. This role involves working with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their physical, sensory, and motor development to ensure academic success and personal growth.
Assignments span multiple sites, delivering targeted OT support:
- Bonita Springs Charter School: Lee County – 30 minutes per week
- Innovation Prep: Naples – 2-3 hours per week
- Dural: K-12 (2 assignments) – 30 minutes per week and 90 minutes per week
With a start date of August 10th, this is an ideal position for an adaptable OT who thrives in a flexible educational environment, including the option for VOCO (virtual/remote) service delivery across all schools. You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement interventions that help each student achieve their highest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Florida
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong time management and independent work skills
- Engaging and clear communicator across diverse teams and student backgrounds
- Proficient in developing and monitoring IEPs and progress documentation
- Comfort and capability with teletherapy (VOCO) platforms
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in-person or virtually, as appropriate
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
