Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current certification and licensing as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience assessing and delivering OT services within a school setting
- Ability to develop and implement individual and group intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges impacting their educational performance
- Develop, implement, and monitor targeted therapy interventions to support student learning goals
- Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to address students’ unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing detailed progress updates and recommendations
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers on student progress and strategies for ongoing support
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and district standards
