Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold current certification and licensing as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience assessing and delivering OT services within a school setting
  • Ability to develop and implement individual and group intervention plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students’ physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges impacting their educational performance
  • Develop, implement, and monitor targeted therapy interventions to support student learning goals
  • Work closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to address students’ unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing detailed progress updates and recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers on student progress and strategies for ongoing support
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and district standards
