Middle School High School Occupational Therapist School Setting in Highland, CA

This full-time contract opportunity spans the academic year from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students from elementary, middle, and high school levels. Desired Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a mixed caseload.
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and education teams.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across multiple school levels.
• Evaluate and assess students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skills to develop individualized goals.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support each student’s development and inclusion.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support educational planning.
• Offer in-service training and consultation as needed to school staff.
