Certified Licensed School Occupational Therapist | Highland, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services in an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position begins on August 3, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students. You'll work closely with students, families, and staff to create supportive environments and facilitate meaningful progress toward each student's goals.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy certification and state licensure
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and tailor interventions for a mixed caseload of varying ages and needs
• Commitment to fostering inclusion, engagement, and student success

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
• Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop individual treatment plans and update progress documentation regularly
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to coordinate comprehensive care
• Offer strategies and training for staff, families, and students to promote skill development across school environments
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and required documentation
