This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference for students from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students.
In this position, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services within a school-based environment. Your expertise will help students build skills they need to thrive both academically and personally.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license and certification
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor interventions to meet the diverse needs of a mixed caseload
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students with varying needs
- Develop and update individualized education program (IEP) goals, documenting progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and student success
- Facilitate modifications to classroom environments and routines to promote student participation
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
