This full-time position begins on August 3, 2026, and extends through June 4, 2027, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students. You'll work closely with students, families, and staff to create supportive environments and facilitate meaningful progress toward each student's goals.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy certification and state licensure
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor interventions for a mixed caseload of varying ages and needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusion, engagement, and student success
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
- Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop individual treatment plans and update progress documentation regularly
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to coordinate comprehensive care
- Offer strategies and training for staff, families, and students to promote skill development across school environments
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and required documentation
