Licensed Certified School Occupational Therapist | Highland, California

This full-time, contract opportunity for a dedicated and certified Occupational Therapist runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This role serves a diverse caseload of 50-55 students with varying needs, providing a rewarding chance to work with students at different ability levels throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Occupational Therapy license
• Certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Passion for helping students reach their potential in academic and social settings

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' functional skills and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students per their IEPs
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and training for staff to support classroom modifications and student inclusion
• Adapt interventions for a variety of student levels and caseload types
