Qualifications/Experience:
• Active Occupational Therapy license (Texas)
• Experience in school-based OT, home health, or teletherapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and school documentation
• Collaborative approach to working within interdisciplinary education teams
• Solid communication skills for interactions with students, caregivers, and staff
• Adaptability for a travel/contract role
• Previous experience in pediatric or educational settings a plus
Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to students (caseload details provided upon placement)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and therapy plans
• Deliver both direct and consultative OT support for students, families, and staff
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school reporting standards
• Support students’ functional participation in academic and daily school activities
• Partner with other professionals to promote a supportive learning environment
