Make a difference in students' lives as an onsite Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity begins August 25, 2026, and runs through June 8, 2027, based at schools in the Wilmington, DE area. Full-time hours offer a rewarding balance between personal and professional life as you collaborate closely with educators, students, and families.

Openings are available at three locations:

  • Split caseload between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary Schools
  • Mount Pleasant Elementary School
  • Split position serving both Middle and High School students

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license (candidates must provide license and resume for submission)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual and group therapy plans
  • Comfortable working across varied age groups and caseloads
  • Please note: This position is not open to COTAs due to supervision requirements
  • Candidates must be willing to pay for $85 CBC fingerprinting and confirm compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student progress
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and state requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
