Step into an essential role for the upcoming school year as a contract Occupational Therapist, serving K-12 students across multiple campuses in the area. From August 7th to May 26th, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students by supporting their academic and functional growth.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for working within school settings, thrive in dynamic environments, and have experience addressing the diverse needs of K-12 learners.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license valid in Georgia
  • Previous experience (clinical or fieldwork) in a school setting, working with K-12 students
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple school campuses
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ needs for occupational therapy as identified in IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support academic and daily living skills
  • Maintain accurate records and provide detailed progress reports
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
  • Travel between multiple campuses within the district as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
