Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license valid in Georgia
- Previous experience (clinical or fieldwork) in a school setting, working with K-12 students
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school campuses
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ needs for occupational therapy as identified in IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support academic and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
- Travel between multiple campuses within the district as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
