School Occupational Therapist | Hollister, California

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting young learners in a school-based setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time role focuses on a PreK caseload, working with children aged 3 to 5 to help them achieve their developmental milestones and gain the skills they need to thrive in a classroom environment.

Your expertise will play a vital role in collaborating with educators and families to design individualized interventions and create a positive, inclusive environment for every child.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children (ages 3-5)
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to supporting young children through therapeutic strategies and individualized plan development

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to PreK students in accordance with IEPs and school objectives
• Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor progress for ongoing intervention strategies
• Work closely with teachers, aides, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for program planning
• Foster a nurturing, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for early learners

This contract position includes weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and CEU reimbursement to support your professional growth. Compensation for this opportunity ranges from $50 to $70 per hour, based on experience level.
