Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and educational documentation
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Creative, compassionate, and adaptable approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and special education teams
- Provide direct and consultative services to help students achieve educational goals
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for compliance and team meetings
- Offer professional insights and training to school staff and families
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
