Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and educational documentation
  • Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Creative, compassionate, and adaptable approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students across grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and special education teams
  • Provide direct and consultative services to help students achieve educational goals
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for compliance and team meetings
  • Offer professional insights and training to school staff and families
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
