Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role is preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an educational team
- Skilled in documentation and Medicaid billing procedures
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services to students, focusing on improving access to education and functional skills
- Assess and evaluate student needs, setting measurable goals and monitoring progress
- Travel between buildings as needed, providing both individual and group interventions
- Consult with teachers, families, and other staff to support student growth and well-being
- Complete all required documentation, including Medicaid billing
- Maintain compliance with all state and district regulations
