Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position runs from August 27, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year. Work closely with a diverse caseload of 40 students, delivering tailored interventions and strategies to help each individual build independence and thrive in their educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience in a school setting, ideally working with high school-aged students
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and maintain thorough documentation
  • Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric and school-based OT

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to high school students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and design individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Promote adaptive skills, fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, and functional performance within the classroom
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
