Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid CCA Occupational Therapy license required
  • Experience delivering OT services in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement tailored interventions for diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to maintaining detailed records and adherence to confidentiality standards
  • Adaptable professional who is comfortable working across multiple school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evaluation, direct therapy, and consultation services in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to address motor skills, sensory needs, self-regulation, and adaptive functioning
  • Design and implement intervention plans in collaboration with special education staff and general educators
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations based on student progress and therapeutic expertise
  • Document interventions, responses, and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Support and educate teachers and caregivers with strategies to integrate therapy goals into daily routines

This is a full-time, school-year contract, spanning August 2026 through June 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week at a school site(s) to be determined near Hornbrook, California.
